Residential Rehabilitation Program - Closed
The Grants Administration Division administers a state-funded housing homeowner repair and rehabilitation program. When SHIP funds are limited, the City may also utilize Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to supplement the program. Funding will assist income-eligible applicants. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, provided they are complete and meet all qualification requirements. Selection will be made on a first qualified, first served basis.
Foreclosure Assistance Program - Closed The Grants Administration Division administers a state-funded (SHIP) activity intended to help eligible homeowners who are in mortgage delinquency or otherwise at risk of foreclosure, but whose homes have not yet reached the foreclosure sale date. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, provided they are complete and meet all qualification requirements. Selection will be made on a first qualified, first served basis.
Home Purchase Assistance Program - Closed
The Grants Administration Division administers a state-funded (SHIP) activity intended to provide home purchase assistance to income-eligible applicants. The program provides assistance with down payment and closing costs in the form of a zero-interest, deferred second mortgage. All applicants must complete a pre-purchase home-buyer education program. The home purchased must be located within the city limits of Fort Pierce. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, provided they are complete and meet all qualification requirements. Selection will be made on a first qualified, first served basis.
Public Service Agency (PSA) Grants - Closed
The Grants Administration Division administers grant-funded opportunities for eligible public service agency applicants carrying out activities that benefit City of Fort Pierce residents. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, provided they are complete and meet all qualification requirements. Selection will be made on a first qualified, first served basis.
Small Business Grants - Closed
The Grants Administration Division administers grant-funded opportunities for eligible small business applicants carrying out activities that benefit City of Fort Pierce residents. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, provided they are complete and meet all qualification requirements. Selection will be made on a first qualified, first served basis.
The maximum income limit is based on the HUD 2025 income chart.
