Right to Appeal

The owner or other affected individual must either remove or abate the nuisance within ten (10) days or request a hearing pursuant to Section 2-245 of the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances. Failure to either remove the nuisance or to request a hearing will be deemed a waiver of the right to a hearing and the City will then cause an immediate removal or abatement of the nuisance. The owner or affected individual will be liable for the costs of removal, abatement, storage, disposition and publication of notice. Such costs may be imposed as a lien on the property if not otherwise paid within thirty (30) days after receipt of the billing.
