City of Fort Pierce Commissioners Seek
Applications for the Fort Pierce Housing Authority
The Mayor of the City of Fort Pierce is seeking a city resident to serve on the Fort Pierce Housing Authority Board (FPHA). The Housing Authority meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Housing Authority’s office at 511 Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce.
The Board is tasked with various oversight roles, including making decisions that are in the best interest of the Authority, approving of policies for the operation of FPHA, setting long and short-term goals within the 5-year plan and annual plan, monitoring the financial statements of the Authority and hiring an executive director to implement the policies and manage the day-to-day operations of the Authority.
