The City of Fort Pierce will celebrate National City Hall Selfie Day on Thursday, August 15th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in front of Fort Pierce City Hall located at 100 North US Highway 1. Join city staff and elected officials for a group selfie at 10:00 AM. Bring your friends, family and smiles!
Participating in #CityHallSelfie day is a free and fun way to celebrate local government public service! Spearheaded by the Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) organization, the event was created to encourage residents to show their city pride by stopping by their city hall or a government building, posing for a selfie and sharing it on social media. Bragging rights are involved for the city with the most recognition of selfies.
How residents can show local “gov” love:
Take a picture of yourself in front of your local government building
- Post the picture on social media using the hashtags #CityHallSelfie & #FPCitySelfie
- That’s it!
