City officials and developers will break ground on a new 15-unit single-family housing development located within a historic district of the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency. The project, Oaks at Moore’s Creek Phase II, is a public-private partnership between the City of Fort Pierce, the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency, and developer, OMC II, LLC. The attainable workforce housing development is located along Means Court, between Moore’s Creek and Avenue B.
Phase II offers potential home buyers the option to select from four different residential models. The models are all three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes ranging in size from 1200 to 1700 square feet. The homes will be priced between $289,000 and $349,000 and will be sold to first-time homebuyers who meet certain income requirements. The first four residences will be built beginning in January 2024.
