🚧 Traffic Alert for SR 68/Orange Avenue 🚧
Please be aware of upcoming road closures and lane restrictions along SR 68/Orange Avenue due to ongoing utility, roadway reconstruction, and resurfacing work.
Starting Tuesday, January 21:
- Full Closure: Eastbound and westbound SR 68/Orange Avenue between N 8th Street and N 7th Street will be closed 24/7 from 5 a.m., Jan. 21 through 5 p.m., Jan. 23(pending weather).
- 🚗 Detours:
- Westbound traffic: N 7th Street → Avenue A → N 8th Street → Orange Avenue.
- Eastbound traffic: S 8th Street → Boston Avenue → S 7th Street → Orange Avenue.
- Residential and business access will be maintained.
- Contingency dates: Monday, Jan. 27 to Wednesday, Jan. 29, if needed.
Additional Closures:
- Lane Closures (13th St. to 32nd St.): One lane in either direction will be closed 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday–Thursday through Thursday, Jan. 30, for lighting, electrical upgrades, milling, and resurfacing.
- Lane Closures (13th St. to 33rd St.): One lane in either direction will be closed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday–Friday through Friday, Jan. 31, for sidewalk work.
- Eastbound Lane Closures (13th St. to US 1): One lane closed 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday–Thursday through Thursday, Jan. 30, for sidewalk work, lighting and electrical upgrades, and milling and resurfacing.
