Commercial Sign Grant Program
As part of the commitment to increase local business awareness, economic productivity, and the overall visual appeal of the FPRA, the FPRA is launching the Commercial Sign Program.
- The FPRA Commercial Sign Grant Program provides financial assistance through a reimbursable grant of up to $5,000 per property for existing businesses. This grant can be used towards the removal of old signage, the design, production, and installation of new signage; or substantial renovation of existing signage including the installation of modern sign lighting, in compliance with current City codes. Under this program, exterior free-standing signs and exterior walls signs that are permanent and fixed in structure are considered eligible sign types.
- The property must be located on within the FPRA District.
How to Apply

- Submit the online application.
- A staff member will contact you within five (5) business days of receiving your application to determine your eligibility.
- The sign project must be completed within 90 days of application approval. Failure to do so will result in the denial of the reimbursement request.
Paint Program
The intent of FPRA Paint Program is to support the revitalization of the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) district and assisting property owners to restore and improve the appearance of their commercial and residential properties.
- The FPRA Paint Program provides financial assistance through a reimbursable grant of up to $1,000 per home or business. This grant can be used towards the cost of exterior paint and paint supplies, with a maximum limit of $100 for paint supplies. (The paint supplies covered by the grant include items such as brushes, rollers, trays, and paint tape but does not include the cost of renting or purchasing painting equipment.)
- The property must be located on within the FPRA District.
