We believe unity within our youth and community overall could be elevated if all citizens leveraged the resources available to them. Sadly, we understand, while many non-profit/profit organizations, local government officials, our city and county, and even the State of Florida provide quantitative resources to remedy issues that plague us at personal and differing levels, there is a gross lack of awareness of these available resources to better individual and familial circumstances. We know, by taking an interest in our fellow neighbors and seeing what issues are affecting them most, we will be able to provide awareness of the resources that will help them and our collective community, live abundantly. Because of this, we are committed to bringing awareness of these resources by various methods, including, but not limited to, engaging other youth to assist us with this mission.

Department Mission

To deliver governmental services to the citizens of Fort Pierce in an efficient and professional manner, to remain cognizant of the City’s regional context and proactively plan and maintain productive regional relationships, and ensure that Fort Pierce distinctive character and culture is preserved.

Department Description

The City Manager is the chief executive and administrative head of the municipal government and is responsible to the Commission for the proper administration of all affairs of the City of Fort Pierce. He exercises general supervision and control over all city departments, except the offices of the City Clerk, City Attorney and the City’s Independent Auditor. The City Manager’s office is staffed by the Executive Assistant to the City Manager, the Communications and Economic Development Manager, the Marketing Specialist, Risk Manager, Risk Management Specialist and an Administrative Assistant.
